While the majority of our rescues are Urgent Care Rescues, State and Law Enforcement involvements, and therefore Longrerm Care, we do occasionally adopt out our rescues who have had full recoveries to 100% health, or who are non-critical longterm care and have been on site adopted by their Sponsor.
UPDATE MAY 28, 2018
After 13 months in rehab/halter training/PEMF and Kinetic therapies, Mint Julep was adopted by Ann Smathers out of Glendo, Wyoming.
Mint Julep will be available for adoption in the spring of 2018. We will continue to post updates of her progress as she moves forward with us. She will be halter trained and ground trained for future training by adopters to ride. Her weight limit for riding will be 100lbs.
UPDATE: After 13 months of rehab, ground and saddle training (for future riding training by her adopters), emotional therapeutic support, and kinetic therapy; Miss Derby was adopted by the Blackburn family of Douglas, Wy. Their eldest daughter received her as a birthday present, a long awaited day for the pony of her dreams!
Derby will be available for adoption in the spring of 2018. We will continue to post updates of her progress as she moves forward with us.
